We're holding Furman accountable to its free speech promises
Yesterday, the Furman Free Speech Alliance’s very own Evan Myers published an op-ed in the Post & Courier, South Carolina’s biggest newspaper.
The piece calls on Furman president Elizabeth Davis to keep her promises about prioritizing free speech and drop the university’s current requirement for prospective professors
to write onerous and politically charged diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) statements.
