The university's goal is in conflict with free speech. They are true believers in DEI. DEI tenants cannot stand on their own in an environment of open debate. Thus, the university will make some noise about addressing the issue and make a few meaningless gestures, but they are in the business of the DEI religion. So, true free speech will be stifled in pursuit of their real objective.

Yes, and as long as they allow the Center for Inclusive Communities to remain on campus, nothing will change. They made my 12 YO state her pronouns by selecting from tiny pins on their Orientation table before letting her have the koozies or whatever they were giving away that day. Fortunately, she grabbed she/her and held it up like it was obvious!! They ar drinking DEI from a firehose.
