FFSA Announces New Free Speech Accountability Tool for Furman Community
Our new portal is confidential and open to everyone.
Earlier this month, we launched a new portal that is available to the Furman community.
The idea is simple: We want to know when speech is being suppressed at Furman so that we can help. So, we’ve created a confidential portal that anyone can use to report incidents from the past or present.
The portal is open to students, alumni, faculty, and the community. Once you’ve reported an incident, we will contact you directly to assist you with your situation.
Of course, we hope that incidents of suppressing speech are rare at Furman, but unfortunately, they happen all the time on campus. This portal is the next step in holding Furman’s administration accountable for their promise to protect free speech.
